At 7:20 of this morning, a white 120 ambulance, which set out from Chaohu Hospital in Anhui at 2:00 a.m., passed through the darkness and endured the hardships of traveling at double speed for over five hours on a rainy night to drive into Huashan Hospital under people’s anticipation. There was a 16-year-old Anhui girl with serious illness on the ambulance. In the past 36 hours, the relay of love one by one from various places of Shanghai paved a life emergency access to help her get to Shanghai quickly and timely to receive treatment.

Guo Huabin who is from Anhui and now works in Shanghai is an employee of Maintenance Department of Shanghai Hangxin Property Management Co., Ltd. subordinate to the community of Xhuihui Garden. It has been 6 years since he joined in the company in 2011. He is diligent and conscientious in everyday works and good at masonry and carpentry, meanwhile able to do electrical works, which belongs to generalists. His family has poor financial situation. His elder sister and younger brother both work outside. His parents over 70 years old who respectively suffer from diabetes and hypertension and have no retirement pay need to take medicine for long time. He divorced with his wife long ago and has undertaken the living expenses of the family of four for many years. On April 14th, Guo Jiaqi, his 16-year-old daughter, was dizzy suddenly and after being sent to hospital, she was diagnosed with supra cerebella avm and supra cerebella cerebral hemorrhage by Chaohu Hospital of Anhui Medical University, then entered ICU of the hospital.

Last year, Jiaqi had to suspense her schooling due to the physical problem. Now she just got back to school to study hard for senior high school entrance examination, but was heavily hit by the disease. The unexpected misfortune made the poor family more poverty-stricken. The whole family was caught in despair both spiritually and financially.

At the night of April 18th, Hangxin heard about his situation and the relay of assistance racing against time started. President Chen of the company instantly asked for help to Huashan Hospital in Shanghai by himself and received great help of Professor Mao Ying, vice president of the hospital and neurosurgeon in China. According to the urgency of her state of illness, he immediately opened a green emergency access for her and arranged the attending doctor.

On April 19th, the news soon spread in various levels of the company. Consequently, Shanghai Hangxin Real Estate Co., Ltd. paid treatment costs of 50,000 yuan for Guo Huabin in advance and Shanghai Foundation for Mutual & Aiding Needy Assistance provided 20,000 yuan.

At dusk, leaders and employees at different levels who finished a day of work walked into collection point temporarily established by the company. More than 100,000 yuan was donated by over 200 “Hangxin employees” from over ten departments, such as Maintenance Department, Engineering Department, Marketing Department, Security Department and Enterprise Management Department, showing warmth in the world to the colleague around. At present, the total amount of donation has been up to 170,000 yuan. They say that doing a good deed to save a living life!

Still on this day, under the arrangement of the company, the leaders with specific duties and the manager of the department in which Guo Huabin works immediately set out by giving up rest and driving to Anhui at 23:00 late at night to help Guo Huabin’s family do docking work of transferring to Huangshan Hospital with Chaohu Hospital and escort them to go to Shanghai successfully.

At 2:00 a.m. of April 20th, the 120 ambulance departed from Chaohui Hospital in Anhui and drove on the highway in spite of the rain to send Jiaqi to Shanghai. As assisted by the traffic police department along the way, it arrived at the emergency area of Huashan Hospital over an hour earlier than the estimated time. In no time, Doctor Chen Liang examined Jiaqi and finished CT at ten past eight. Jiaqi has checked in the ward in the forenoon for further diagnosis and treatment.

Guo Huabin who is always short-spoken continuously used “than you, thank you” to express his complicated feelings at this moment. He said that he appreciated the president to help him find a good hospital and good doctors in such a short time to provide treatment for his daughter and he thanked for the the company and everyone. Now, Guo Huabin and his family members are waiting in the hospital all day long and he is unable to work normally. The company expresses to give him full supports to take care of his daughter. His work has been taken over by others, but his income will be definitely not reduced.

According to information, the assistance for poor employees provided by Shanghai Hangxin Real Estate Co., Ltd. and Xuhui Garden property was not momentary action but the system guarantee that has been established. The company has the self-collected fund for poverty-stricken employees every year, which has been insisted on for 20 years. When Anhui had a flood disaster last year, the self-collected fund helped and made a donation to Guo Huabin’s family who suffered from the disaster. For the use of donation this time, Hangxin expressed that a three-person group of the company and his family would publicly and transparently implement this salvage donation.
